MOBILITY BAG INSTALLATIONS FOR VARIOUS MOBILITY AIDS

STANDARD WALKER:

  1. Place the mobility bag in front of the standard walker.
  2. Wrap one of the top webbing straps around the top of the walker and fasten by snapping the black buckle. Repeat with the second top buckle.
  3. Adjust by tightening the webbing until the mobility bag is tight and secure at the top of your walker. Repeat with the second top black buckle. Tuck away any excess webbing. *See note at the bottom of the standard walker installation instructions.
  4. Make sure your mobility bag is centered on the top bar of the walker.
  5. Wrap one of the side closures around a "leg" of your walker and fasten by smoothing together. Repeat with the other side closures.
  6. Adjust the top buckles by tightening the webbing. Be sure the webbing is tight and the mobility bag is safely secured to the top of the walker.
  7. Make sure the bottom of the walker bag is centered with the top of the walker bag.
  8. Open the privacy flap and wrap over the top bar of the actual walker. For privacy, just close the privacy flap and secure with the provided locking tape on the mobility bag.
  • NOTE: Stop here if you plan to transfer the mobility aids bag to another device. If you are certain you will not be transferring to another mobility aid cut away excess webbing and locking tape.

Your doctor or medical team should give you guidelines for how much weight to bear. Follow all of their directions.

ROLLATOR:

  1. Follow the directions for the standard walker installation with a few notes listed below.
  2. Usually a piece of padding surrounds the top of the rollator bar in the center. Attach the top plastic buckles on each side of the rollator's padding.
  3. Adjust by tightening the webbing until the mobility bag is tight and secure at the top of your walker. Repeat with the second top black buckle. Tuck away any excess webbing. *See note at the bottom of the rollator installation instructions.
  4. There are a variety of areas to attach the side pieces of the mobility bag to your rollator. Choose the space that works best for your needs.
  • NOTE: Stop here if you plan to transfer the mobility aids bag to another device. If you are certain you will not be transferring to another mobility aid cut away excess webbing and locking tape.

KNEE ROLLER:

  1. Follow the directions for the standard walker installation, except you will attach the plastic buckles in a slightly different area.
  2. Attach the top buckles to the bottom portion of the handle brakes so the mobility aids bag will not get in the way of your safety.
  3. Stop here if you plan to transfer the mobility aids bag to another device. If you are certain you will not be transferring to another mobility aid cut away excess webbing and locking tape.

SCOOTER:

  1. Our Mobility Aids Bag can attach to the front of a scooter or the back of the scooter chair.
  2. For installation on the back of the scooter, follow the directions for a standard walker installation but use a solid and sturdy area on the back of your scooter.
  3. For installation on the front of the scooter, follow the directions for the knee roller.
  4. Double check the position of the Mobility Aids Bag to prevent the straps or mobility bag from entering the wheel and/or engine areas of the scooter.
  5. Stop here if you plan to transfer the mobility aids bag to another device. If you are certain you will not be transferring to another mobility aid cut away excess webbing and locking tape.

WHEELCHAIR:

  1. The placement of our Mobility Aids Bag is determined by the type of wheelchair and your personal needs.
  2. The Mobility Aids Bag can easily attach to the back of a wheelchair. With certain wheelchairs, the mobility bag may also attach to the side of the wheelchair. Please take care when deciding upon the mobility bag location. Remember: DO NOT place the mobility bag or straps in a location they could tangle with the wheelchair wheels or engine!
  3. For the back of a wheelchair, wrap each top strap around a back handle and buckle. *See note at the bottom of the wheelchair installation instructions.
  4. Thread and wrap each side locking tape around a portion of the wheelchair that will not interfere with the functions of the wheelchair. Repeat with other straps.
  5. Adjust to fit securely and you are ready to roll.
  • NOTE: Stop here if you plan to transfer the mobility aids bag to another device. If you are certain you will not be transferring to another mobility aid cut away excess webbing and locking tape.

INSTALLATION FOR ANY OTHER MOBILITY AIDS:

Because of the many different attachment areas available on our mobility aids bag, you have several opportunities to find a place on your mobility device to safely and securely attach the mobility aids bag. If you are installing on a device not listed here, please feel free to contact us for installation suggestions. It will be worth the effort to safely keep your essentials items with you.
